Little Darlings Childcare | Ngā Taonga Iti is a caring, nurturing place where tamariki are affirmed as taonga, treasures of their whānau, who bring with them a wealth of knowledge both lived and passed down from their tūpuna.

Whakamana tamariki, in every ordinary moment
Our kaiako have the responsibility to whakamana tamariki: to nurture confident, capable individuals, affirm their uniqueness and empower them to make their own choices and follow their learning journeys through play.
With aroha and manaakitanga at the heart of our practice, we guide tamariki to be kind, empathetic and confident communicators.
Our philosophy is grounded in Te Whāriki, Te Ara Whānui and Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We work in partnership with whānau and tamariki, valuing te ao Māori, diversity and whānau tūmanako, the hopes and aspirations of each family.
Together, we create a safe, loving and inclusive environment where every tamaiti can take flight, supported by those who care for them most.

Te ao Māori sits in the everyday
Our name carries a responsibility. In partnership with whānau we value te ao Māori, celebrate diversity and embrace whānau tūmanako, the hopes and aspirations of each family.
Tamariki who hear and use te reo from a young age carry it easily. Whānau tell us the kupu come home with them, and that is exactly the point.
